Im putting a gt 350 5.2L V8 engine with a flat-plane crank that produces 526 hp and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. in my bandlands bronco with 7 speed manual trans. The trans is going to monster transmisson for rebuild. the question is will the front and rear diff need to be rebuilt..Or will it handle the power..

IMO if you are going that route it would be prudent to upgrade both diffs.

Probably should, but I'm one to just send it and deal with the carnage later.... but then again... I'm no role model.

Also I'd be more worried about the trans holding up vs the diffs.

Unfortunately, the GT 350 doesn’t use the Coyote. It is the 5.2 Voo Doo.

Wonderful motor YES, but may I ask why this is your selection for an off road rig? Such a high reving engine. Personally, outside of the great sound you will have, I'd much rather go Godzilla 7.3L.
Voodoo - 429 lb-ft @ 4,750
Godzilla - 475 lb-ft @ 4,000

Very interested to hear your reasoning though.

New engine or salvage? I only ask because they have a habit of spinning the main bearing.

What is your plan for engine management and getting that to interface with the rest of the vehicle? You going stand-alone and actuating things like lockers and 4x4 separately?

Or do you plan to try and integrate into the factory software?

I'd like to know more details on how you're going to adapt the 7-speed to mate up to the 5.2. Getting a custom adapter plate machined I assume?

I've mentioned this before in this forum... Hanging out with you all for the past year, I'm really starting to realize just how broke I am.
