I'm curious if doing this makes sense. I understand the Badlands Billstein setup is superior for offroading & allows for better wheel/tire clearance, but trying to educate myself a little further on if it's worth it. Looking for feedback, positive or negative.

There is an ongoing thread that @mpeugeot put in the work with @flip to ascertain the numerous combinations. It isn't as simple buying takeoffs from anyone. You'll want to match up the chassis (door count), engine size, and tow package. Quite a few have made the upgrade from the stock suspension.

Edit: @kodiakisland beat me to it. (y)

I didn't see the part numbers seen in the pics attached on that thread. Any indication on whether these would fit a 4dr, auto, 2.3L, with a tow package?

I picked up a set of the Sasquatch Bilstein suspension.
I matched doors and engine, but the seller had a tow package and I do not. I'm not too worried about it.

Congrats on the pick up. It will give you a little more ground clearance improved performance.

It's definitely worth it, but unless you're getting a smoking deal you'd be better served just to find some Sasquatch takeoffs and get the bit more lift that comes with those. They should be far easier to find out there as well...no downside, only upside either way.

Would you consider $500 for UCA's, shocks and struts a smoking deal? Came from a $2.7L automatic, no tow package.

from what little I know you want the same doors and engine trim. The tow vs non two look to have the same part numbers. BUt its different spring rates so you want to match up doors and engine types when swapping

So circling back in the subject after riding around like this for a year. Ultimately, my experience was that with the M190 and the steering rack from my non-sas Bronco, the truck rode like shit after adding the sas lift and wheels/tires. Swapping to BFG KO2's helped a little but not much.

Your experience may differ, but the ride was bad enough to make me want to just trade up and out of my OBX and into a SAS Badlands.
