I know theres tons of info on this topic but ADD and attention span gets the better of me trying to search so much. I have a 2dr black diamond non sas 2.3 auto and looking at sas take offs. Found a set of 2dr badlands 2.3 sas takeoffs. Can anyone tell me what to expect? PFA

I have a 2.3 2 dr auto as well and put SAS takeoffs on mine. Not sure what you mean by what to expect but it was a very easy swap. I also did an additional 1 inch lift front and 1/2 inch rear with 2 RC level kits.

Have them on my base 2.3 manual and i really dont notice any difference in performance if thats what your asking but im also not expecting a racehorse out of my bronc but I love the look of the sas wheel and tire which i know many dont and they have worked well for me in some light mud, and for the beaches here in florida

You'll be looking at +/-1.5" of lift above the OEM BD.

When I asked what to expect I was referring to how much lift and ride quality. Sorry shoulda been more specific. Im very happy with my ride quality but the hitachis have a horrible nose dive when braking. I thought I had read that swapping will eliminate some of that. As for lift Im hoping to get roughly 1.5f/1r at least.

I have a 2 dr with SAS and the front dives pretty good when heavy braking. Just figured it was the nature of the beast being built to flex somewhat offroad.

What did you do for this lift, combine or mix and match kits?

I put 35"s on my 2-door base and am looking to do something similar, max 1" lift in back and around 1.75 max in front. (I don't want the 2" lift offered by most other kits.)

I put the full level kit up front, 2 round shims and the u shaped spacer on the bottom and then for rear just the 2 round shims on top. After it was a little nose high for me so I removed the lower spacer in the front so I have the 2 round shims at all 4 corners now.

Nice! That's basically what I'm after. Good to know about the shim placement, for balance when loading stuff in back, I don't want the front too high. Thanks for the info.

Add a rear sway bar and the nose dive will get much better 👍

I'd expect what every other thread on the topic has said. Expect an inch or so of lift and a better ride.

Not necessarily true when swapping. Ive read where some have gotten upwards of 2" depending on spring rates and shocks. For expample a base 2dr 2.3 manual with no options is gonna have a softer rating than a loaded out 4dr v6.

Uh, you specifically said you have a 2dr 2.3 and you found takeoffs from a 2dr 2.3, so??? Are you changing what you are buying or just changing the question?
Anyway, tons of threads on what to expect. Install them and see what you get. About an inch of lift, give or take, and a better ride.
