This seems amazing to me. I wouldn’t have thought to even try this. I’m going to have to man up! 😛

If that is a disconnected sway then I feel bad for those all exited about it. He didn't even have his locker on, you think he went through the trouble of disconnecting the bar.

I could be wrong. But that left front is barely dropping.

Those trail/ridge grapplers definitely make a difference too. I have a feeling the stock Sasquatch tires are leaving the dealership in the back for me

I guess those worried about the droop will have to wait for an electronic SFA gizmo that "links" the IFS so that it droops more like SFA on the trail, but can be disengaged on the highway or high speed trail running.

Until then, you should cancel your order.

That's a lot of flex for an IFS! Mighty impressive! Although Jeeps are great performers, you would still ideally want a lift kit and some bigger tires to compete with the SAS pack. Another reason why I chose Bronco over Jeep #99 problems and a Jeep ain't one

Umm. This is more of a demo as to why a front locker is needed with IFS for doing this type of off-roading. My XJ has more front flex with the sway bar connected than the BL with it disconnected—hence why (with the sway bar disconnected) I can tackle the same terrain without a front locker. This video has me seriously doubting my BD order now. Oh well, it’s too late, as I’m one of the lucky ones with a scheduled June build.

The reason he had to use the front locker has much more to do with the spacing of the stairsteps than the IFS.

Although that is definitely a contributing factor, I disagree that it’s more so than the IFS. If both front tires have traction (weighted contact with the rocks), it’s simply easier to climb ledges (with or without a front locker). I’ve wheeled most of the Moab trails with IFS and SFA rigs. When it comes to rock crawling, a SFA performs (flex) better so you can get away with fewer mods like a front locker.
