Hopefully @Ford Motor Company or some of our B6G insiders can answer this as I've not seen it posted yet.

I know once your order is placed and converted from a reservation you are stuck with that dealer.

My order was pushed to MY22, so I understand I'll need to place a NEW order for a MY22. Does that mean I'm back in the reservation holder status?

If so, can I switch dealers now?

Youā€™ll be able to switch once the ā€˜22 orders open.
And Iā€™m glad too.

Curious, why are you switching?
They're unresponsive and that drives me nuts. It's also unsettling when I know more about the Bronco, the launch, the issues and delays than they do.

But the main reason would be that an email or call to them goes unanswered unless I follow up several more times.

Haven't decided yet if I'm switching. Just good to know that I can.

Regardless, when you do your MY22 order, everyone please get something in writing about what the final pricing will be, even if it is just a confirmation that it will be MSRP with no ADM!

I hear ya! Iā€™ve experienced the same thing. I just keep calling and emailing untill I get what I need. Most questions are answered by the great people of this forum. I was at my dealer last week for a test drive which was great. He was telling me how hard Ford made this on them and I totally get it. I without a doubt knew more that was going on than he did. I even received a nice parts catalog for theā€¦Bronco Sport!?
I think we all know more than 75% of dealers out there. As long as there isnā€™t any markup issues, I suggest you stay. Itā€™s not always greener on the other side.

Yes! Very important!! I wrote my dealer a quick simple email last week and he confirmed it in writing. He totally understood the need and what other dealers are doing.

I've just accepted the fact that I know more about the 6th gen Bronco than my "Bronco Specialist", but what bothers me most about my current dealer, is receiving bad information.

It's one thing if you admit you don't know, I can stomach that, but don't give me BS info. I caught my dealer in email trying to explain dealer allocation is not a factor, when FoMo has explicitly stated that it is. Additionally, someone at my dealership has taken the Mannequin for their own use - because I've spent weeks trying to get a test drive and it's always been "out for the week". I don't really know where I am in MY2021, but if I am pushed, I can't wait to switch.

You're right. I'm sticking it out with them for now. I'll be testing their responsiveness in the meantime. :p

If you are able to switch dealers, will the deposit be refunded? I have hard time believing that dealers are going to return deposits if youā€™re going to place an order elsewhere.

They've already promised to refund my deposit for the order, keeping the $100 deposit for the reservation in place. I'll then give a new deposit after placing the new order.

This whole thing should scare everyone the most. My '21 order price was in writing and signed. Now being pushed to '22 you will have price protection from Ford, but certainly not unscrupulous dealers, who will no doubt try to add ADM now when reordering. This is going to be a nightmare. @Ford Motor Company

I think its important that Dealers are also short-staffed due to the pandemic, and some could have difficulty paying staff when they have less income due to fewer new and used cars to sell. Sometimes a personal visit is needed.

The $100 deposit was made on line to Ford, not to the dealer, so perhaps it would follow you to a new dealer
