Sync 5 for 2024 Model Year? (MY)

Looks like Sync 5 isn't happening for the 23 MY. Anyone heard any tidbits on when Sync 5 lands in the Bronco?

I doubt it.

They're going to want to make a big splash with Sync 5 (or whatever they'll call it), and the perfect time to do it would have been yesterday with the Mustang. But... the Mustang ended up having Sync 4, so obviously Sync 5 it's not quite ready for prime time yet.

It's probably going to be on an yet-to-be-announced electric vehicle, or perhaps a refresh of the Mustang Mach-E which should be due for one either in 2024 or 2025.

Considering Sync 4 is rather new, I doubt we see Sync 5, or whatever, until 2025.

I hope that whenever it comes, it works better than sync 4 and I hope it is backwards compatible.

Sync 4 hasn't even been available for 2 model years yet and sync 3 was around for 6.

Why is this even a question? Its not an iphone with yearly updates.. its a car. The bronco won't see a possible sync 5 until a whole new generation and we aren't even to a mid cycle refresh yet.

Last I heard Ford partnered with Google to start making their systems and that Sync4 was the last Sync. Could be wrong though.
