This evening, I noticed the tail light was out “partially” on the passenger side of my Bronco (1st and 2nd photo). Disappointed, I parked it back in the garage and started researching. After finding nothing, I went back and reviewed a video my wife had taken earlier before dark because I had just installed a Roush axle back exhaust. Sure enough, my light was working fine (3rd photo). At that point I didn’t understand how the light could have went out on a practically new vehicle so I went back outside and started it up....sure enough, the light was working again (4th photo).
Does anyone have an idea if it’s a short, loose wire or maybe something with the computer? From what I can tell, it’s a little painful accessing the back of the light assembly so I wasn’t about to tackle that project tonight.
Any input is appreciated. Note: blinker and reverse lights never stopped working.
