Tailgate table contrast wrap

So my first G6 Wildtrak had a fold down table on the tailgate that was installed by the dealer, with and Area 51 background. Loved the functionality of the table, but never thought it looked as though it belonged. It looked more like it was some BS addon to up sell the vechicle.

So I finally got around to installing a fold down table on the tailgate of my Braptor w/graphics package. I got some digi-camo wrap (close exterior graphics color match on a smaller scale) and gave this install some much needed depth compared to just a plain white back ground.

The wrap took about 1.5 hours with all the contours and cuts on the tailgate, along with laying down some knife-less tape to provide a clean end product. I am very pleased with the results.

Looks good - Only thing I might do differently is trim the top off so it’s flush with the top of the tailgate table frame. Other than that, well done!

That’s the 1st thing my eye gravitated to. Glad to see I am not the only OCD guy here.

Only bad thing is in that top area, there is no "good" step off point other than the body line path I choose. If I had cut off at the top of the table I would be in and out of the undulation on the interior body panel. So sticky point...
