The hoss 3.0 system took Wildtrak from meh, to desirable. It needs to be wrapped into the Wildtrak package, as it really ads value separating itself from Badlands. Badlands = disconnect. Wildtrak = Hoss 3.0. Except, Badlands needs the steering box just as bad.

from the article (very interesting) >> Additionally, the Hoss 3.0 package has a steering rack used in the Bronco Raptor, providing a 40% gain in maximum load compared to the standard Bronco rack.

That article makes it sound like the Badlands is a piece of garbage. Let’s not forget it wasn’t built to be a desert runner…

Would be interested in the travel of the hoss 3.0 setup. How much of a lift does it provide (assuming the 1.9in lift is over the std bronco)...how much over Sasq. and/or badlands.

Ford will have to produce or offer replacement shocks so at some point these will be available.

With the travel and lift info could use to compare against the icon stg 3 and up lifts. I assume the Icon will still be better in terms of travel and lift but at what cost.

Great to see options

As far as racing goes, it sounds like they need to bring back the old Class 3 Short Wheel Base Bronco/Jeep Class. It’s just not designed to compete with 8’s (If that’s still a thing) and Trophies.

From thr article- "The reason was the 1.2 inches of increased ground clearance, increased thermal capacity of the Fox shocks so they wouldn’t fade and lose performance, and a 1.9-inch wider track for extra stability"

Also:
Ford revised the spring rates, added a new rear stabilizer bar and inner and outer tie rods that are 32% stronger.

One other note is they smoked a shock reservoir on something... Shock skids are a necessity on these things.

The measurements are compared to a non-sas badlands...... It would have the same ground clearance and width as every Sasquatched Bronco. The Hoss 3.0 isn't adding any additional lift or width. That the way I see it. No(?)
