I'm trying to visualize the installation for a powered sub which I will locate underneath the front seat. I've seen threads on the forum about tapping into the kick panel speakers to provide signal to the powered sub. My question is, do I have to tap into them near the actual speaker locations, or is it possible to tap into them near where they connect to the factory radio? I would prefer the second option since it seems simpler. Less interior panels to remove and less wiring to run and hide. All the tap-in connections would be in the same general location and then I can run everything down the center console and poke out underneath the seat for final connection. It makes sense in my head but I'm definitely not a pro at this sort of thing and I feel like I might be overlooking something. Any input is appreciated.
