I finally opened my tie rod kit.
In the planning stages I commented about my concern over the bag option. Specifically the chance of a bag increasing the price significantly (there are a lot of expensive tool bags/rolls out there) and with that high price being "stuck" with a bag that I wouldn't have chosen for myself.

I purchased the kit with the OEM tie rod and red bag and felt the price was very good, maybe even a little low. I've only "used" the tool roll so far (no broken tie rod, yet) and I'm impressed you were able to include a sturdy tool roll in the total price.

Thanks again for putting this kit together. It is perfect for me.

The tool roll pricing isn't that bad actually when bought in bulk. Obviously it is a generic tool roll and isn't customized to the contents, but the layout worked well and keeps everything contained, that's all I asked from it.

yes, but picking a tool roll that doesn't feel cheap. That doesn't make me want to replace it immediately, but in fact will be something I can/will re-purpose if I decide I want to organize my pack-out differently, or if I already had room in an existing bag, all the while keeping the total kit price a no-brainer purchase.
