Do you use it? Does it make much difference? Does it make the throttle too touchy?

Im still keeping the revs below 3k while breaking her in…my initial trial on the demo car was higher revs and some good get up and go. No diff in the clutch action.

I feel Sport mode greatly increases the drivability of the 7MT. Enabling it has brought the 2.3L to life and makes rev matching much smoother.

I can’t comment on Sport Mode on my 2.3 yet bc I don’t have it, but……Sport Mode on my F150 3.5 EcoBoost turns that truck into a rocket ship. I’m looking forward to seeing it on my Bronco.

I don’t understand what you mean by higher revs. Was this in an automatic?

I prefer to drive in sport mode. You can feel the difference, she peps right up. I have the 4A upgrade, and when I go into sport mode, it shifts over to 4A, and the auto start/stop disables.

Just makes the pedal a little more sensitive and disables the stop/start. Eco does the opposite.

Cool! Do you have to select sport mode every time you start the car?

You'll be asked and can simply click the ok button on the steering wheel to confirm. I generally hit the 2H button afterwards as I don't feel the need for 4A under normal conditions.

My wife’s Silverado had a 4 auto but the manual said using It all the time could produce extra wear. Does Ford say if it is OK to use sport mode with 4 auto all the time?

Sport mode really helps in traffic that is not holding a steady speed.

It really does perk it up quite a bit. I was surprised.
In that moment, I got a bit frustrated with the 2.3, tried Sport and it totally changed my mind set.
