I have the black diamond and I use sport on 4h and turn off traction and lock the rear and it’s a freaking Baja racer. I hit anything and it doesn’t phase it. I put a straight pipe on so I can hear throttle and it really rips. Normal and eco are a dulled down throttle sensitivity.
And it’s more than that it’s a whole ecu mapping which increases boost. More aggressive throttle and snappier steering

I have a question, does the 2.3 MT have sports mode or is this something I need to unlock through forscan?

Depends on which trim you got. My Black Diamond has it, not sure about any of the other trims one way or the other.

Badlands does not have Sport mode, but it can easily be unlocked with FORScan.

Yes, it definitely feels different and I highly suggest enabling it. Personally, the biggest difference is when downshifting. Sport mode reacts to a blip of the throttle much faster than normal mode, which helps when rev matching on a downshift.

I feel Sport mode greatly increases the drivability of the 7MT. Enabling it has brought the 2.3L to life and makes rev matching much smoother.
Howdy Aman, congrats on your BadSquatch! Love the 2-dr (waiting shipment of my 2-dr MT Eruption Green Black Diamond). So nice of you to support Granger, coming all the way from the east coast. Granger is also my dealer (I'm in MN).

I remember back in the early days, you sharing pics of when the Broncos were on display at Wall Street. Nice you're still out here sharing your Bronco experiences. Take care!
