Test Drove Velocity Blue Wildtrak 2 Door

I was trying to ignore that my dealer had a Bronco that I could go look at and drive because I wanted my first bronco drive to be my 2 door Black basesquatch. But when I drove by today and saw this I couldn’t resist. I wanted to note some concerns I had prior to seeing and after seeing this in person and give my experience.

- Pictures do not do justice. Period.
- The Sasquatch looks perfect
- The Sasquatch fender flares do not look too big. This was a concern I had. They look great.
- the running boards look great in person and might be needed. And I’m 6’1”.
- it’s much bigger than I was expecting . Inside and out.
- the 2 door cargo area is plenty big and I have a 2 year old
- the velocity blue is amazing. You will not be disappointed if you ordered this color. Not too electric at all
- as noted by others the bronco lifts and dives when accelerating and braking. Significantly. Feels like driving a side x side. Very fun.
- Acceleration immediately off the line - it’s a dog (v6) but once the turbos spool it goes!
- interior quality exceeded expectations.
- very spacious inside
- engine note isn’t great but not as bad as some have said
- B&O stereo is decent
- amazing truck. You will love it.
- windshield a little small but great visibility
- leather seats were sweaty. Happy I will have cloth. But they looked nice.

Thanks for the new pics, I'm a 99'd VB Black Diamond waiting on a white top. I was ecstatic that VB survived the color cut, hopefully it will endure to whenever the mod tops are available.

FOR GOALIE: Yes, I’ve had one since July, but I have had my build date moved 4 times. Then the Friday the 13th email hit and now I have no idea when I will get a build date.

My reservation was 5 hours after launch. It sounds like your reservation was just hours after mine. To be honest, you may come out slightly behind me in delivery, but ahead because you will have more options to choose from when you reorder. You should be among the very first 2022’s. Good luck!

2 door wiltrak cyber orange for me and I can't wait. I'll be in gunstock off-roadeo next weekend and I'm hoping I can get to drive a 2 door and wildtrak. Sucks seeing these on dealer lots and not driveways. Oh well, looks great. Thanks for the insight

Same here, 2.5 hours after release and nothing. I've seen my build sitting on lots as demos and a couple delivered to guys who had reservations days after me.

Damn it! It looks terrific. I have a 2 door, velocity blue, sasquatch on order. I was starting to think Jeep again because my wait will be so long. Then you post this and it reminds me that this is what I want. Guess I will wait a while longer.
