My thoughts on the Goose Gear Rear Plate. Sorry for the late relply somehow I missed your message.

Hey no worries. Thanks for the video, I ended up subscribing. Love your setup. I ended up finding a carpenter to cut plywood and then I did the rest. I also have the American Adventure lab cargo shef on order, so I will have a similar setup like yours. I’ll be mounting my battery in the same location.

No I’m using it with the Goose Gear rear plate system mounted on the drivers side. Before I got the Goose Gear plate I did have the Iceco slide mounted to the two threaded stock inserts for the tie down hooks.

Here’s some pictures of my current setup.

I assume you drilled the slide to match the holes? And just two screws is secure enough?

Hi, I drilled two holes in the slide and also used two existing holes for 4 total. Very secure.

Nice! Don't you love how you can still open the fridge on the midpoint of the slide and still clear the jcr cargo shelf? Worked out perfect.

Very nice. I have the Iceco VL45 that I carry in my Bronco. I bought it May of 2021 when I had my Raptor. I'm looking at going with the American Adventure Labs platform system. I just learned that their the VL45 is an inch too long for their fridge slide. So I might have to sell the VL45 and downsize or see if the Iceco slide can be installed in the MASS platform. I guess it would be a matter if the slide's hole would line up.

Sort of off-topic but which magnetic lights are those on your rollbar?

I'd be curious if anyone has owned this Iceco fridge as well as the ARB or Dometic equivalents. I'm guess the bigger brands have a bit nicer finish, maybe some better insulation, but functionally work no better. Someone inform me otherwise?

No issues. With arb and dometic you are paying for the name.

My second Iceco and no issues. My last one was in a trcuk bed and I kicked the crap out of it. Plus the Icecos have a Danfos compressor which is considered very good. They are also doing a 15% off sale the next 2 days, but also do deals all the time.

Thanks!! That’s what I figured.

I've owned the CFX3 45 and currently using the VL45ProS. I no longer have the Dometic. The set thermostat control was giving me a small issue, and I dont think cooled as well as the Iceco. But it was very efficient. The Iceco I think keeps all my food and drinks evenly cold no matter where place them, but drains my power supply faster. Could all be in my head, but its just what I noticed on weekend camps using the same Jackery.

In case anyone comes across this, the ICECO VL45 fits fine in a 2door with the rear seats raised.
