every Ford truck / suv that I have bought with a tow package / 7pin has a plug for brake controller under the dash by the steering wheel.
There is certainly some plugs under there. I just didn’t see one that matched my plug. It’s never my favorite thing to do getting under the dash I’ll take some picks of what I have and what I’m seeing.

let us know, I still have a brake controller laying around from when I had my F350 so it would be zero dollars to use that once I get a Bronco.

I think that’s the one in the accessory catalog. I’ll probably get the same if I can’t get mine to pair up
This is the one in the accessory catalog, FWIW. $399.

should be the gray connector, but looks like a different adapter is needed. digging...
ok went back to look at the accessory for the Bronco trailer controller and its the same as what you have and what I remember having so there has to be another pigtail connector.

Tested out the towing yesterday and in general it was great. Had to switch hitches to my weight distribution hitch since it is longer and the spare was in the way for my short trip hitch. Found out it has sway control. Didn’t add my brake controller because I couldn’t find the plug or maybe it’s different but the trailer weighs 2900 lbs so just under the required weight for needing one. I’ll get one added before I head into the mountains as it gives some good piece of mind.

Say what? You got a 2 door with a 2.7 and a towing package? WTH!
Very nice, friend. I’m just jealous.

Got my info off the accessories Acrobat file my dealer sent me. Maybe they've change or maybe both are available?
The ranger version includes a Lumen ecu I believe for the taillights but still uses the redarc tow pro brake controller.

How comfortable are we in the towing ability of a single axle 3500lb trailer? Anyone have experience yet?

Thanks for the pics, I hadn't thought about the spare interfering, I'll need to check that out.

Great looking rig BTW. Report back on highway manners when you can please.
The spare interfering with trailer hookup has been a concern from the getgo. However, I think it's 4WP that has a riser mount for the spare to get it up and out of the way.

I'm wary about doing so, that's pushing it with stock rear suspension. TFL did the Ike Gauntlet with a 2400lb trailer The New Ford Bronco Takes On The World's Toughest Towing Test, And It REALLY Surprised Us! - YouTube

I was excited about getting a Bronco sometime down the road to replace the 4.7l V8 4Runner, but I'm pretty sure it can't match the Runner. V8 Runner pulls a 1706fb Winnebago 4k lbs fine over Ike and about the same 7.2 MPG the Bronco got with a low profile 2400lb trailer. Only 7.2 mpg towing a 2400lb low profile trailer in the Rockies?

Runner is plenty good offroad and can haul 4k lbs offroad with the ClassIV hitch it has. Bronco ClassII hitch I wouldn't trust going offroad, my trailer would tear that ClassII to pieces going through gullies.

Well you guys make your own decision, I'm disappointed the Bronco is a one-trick pony.
