I did this without the washout floors and aside from the wet carpeting (which I used a wet vac for), it worked out quite well, but I will never off road with the doors and top off again.

A note about wash out. If you wash the back out water collects in the jack compartment and will not dry out unless you pull the rubber plug, whipe it out with towels and prop it open to dry out completely. I have rusty tools now that prove my point lol.
