Pick a bad line, plus have the rear end kick out towards the tree twice already....

This video was a great example of how not to off road. Tommy shouldn’t be guiding anyone. His direction and obvious lack of how lockers work and vehicle dynamics is amazing. The fact that they attempted any of this without airing down is the first clue these guys are yo-yos.

Ryan, took all the blame. He knew he should have aired down but didn't. He also knew he should have backed off and tried an easier line.
I thought he was pretty cool about it. Yeah the advice and spotting was not the best but he manned up and took the blame for his actions and decisions.

The slight difference is that the 4Runner has a wider body than the Bronco. Other than the fender flares the Bronco is narrower. Still not by much but it's definitely a difference and may offer a bit more clearance.

That being said...I don't know why they just kept on driving it into trees.
I mean, when you lose traction and there are trees around…

ive gone into trees several times (3)when losing traction offroad. All of mine were on snow covered slopes, but it happens when off-roading on tight trails

One advantage for the bronco, rear quarter panels are bolt ons, so a hit like that would be a single panel replacement, not a cut/weld/body work fix.

Sure. Shit happens. Especially on tight trails.

My comment was mostly a bit tongue in cheek.

I didn't watch super intently but it looks like they weren't on tight trails and easily could have gone a little wider. I don't know...from my armchair looks like they took a needless risk, didn't do much to avoid it, then paid the price.
