It just occurred to me this morning, that while we all have things we wish were different....this team did an amazing job! Look, I'm moving from 33 years of only Toyotas for cryin' out loud!! When I learned that you can open the rear window without opening the tailgate, which was new to me, I just went, wow. Again, they hit it. The doors come off, easily! and stow in the truck!!! The mirrors stay on!!!!! There's a slide out tailgate. Roof panels don't require a beer party with three of your friends. IFS means you can actually drive without fear on the highway!!! They've done a great job and we need to stop and appreciate before we bitch about the next thing. Look, even Toyota has dropped a lot of balls. They've still got no idea where to put oil filters, seats in Taco and 4R are horrid beyond description once you break 30....etc. etc. Bronco Team: Kudo's. Thanks for being thoughtful. You're restored my hope.

Uh oh :ROFLMAO:

I agree with your points though. They knocked it out of the park. I haven't cared about any vehicle that has come out in the last decade. Said I would never buy brand new. Said I would never spend this much on a truck.... Here I am. They hooked me and my wallet.
Agreed! Hooked me too! I've never been this excited or wanting of a new vehicle before.

Just says they open independently. Which is true. On both the Bronco and Bronco Sport. The Bronco you'll have to open the tailgate first though.
Ah, well duh, maybe! Hmmmm. Must I now retract? Lol

I assume it's mounted far enough out for the window to clear.
You don't have to open the entire tailgate but you have to swing the spare tire back a bit and then you can do this.

EDIT - actually, I think it is the other way. Yep, here it is:

Does the spare swing out separate from the door, like my CR-V? Otherwise why the hinges on the window?
No. It is attached to tailgate.

1. Open tailgate.

2. Open glass.

Not understanding your hinge question.

That slide-out tailgate accessory is gonna be a must have. I use the tailgate on my F350 for all sorts of stuffs. It makes a great sawhorse for cutting 2x4's and whatnot.

Now, as far as getting my big-old-self up ONTO the slid out tailgate to reach the roof, that's a completely different story. And highly doubtful.

Stool accessory! Lol. I wonder what sort of engineering will be needed to move the spare just enough......?

That sounds like some sort of composting camp toilet.

Should'nt be too hard to build a tilt out mount if it's important to you.
