That horrendous "sport" bar and b pillar on the 2 door.

Quick question, which cages have you seen? Because there is pictures of one without the plastic parts that cover the color and the one without.. Well I say the top one has plastic covers, it sure as hell don't look like bare metal like the bottom one..
I hadn't seen the without plastic cladding pics.

To me the entire roll bar looks to big and the B pillars(and C pillars in the 4D) are HUGE. I prefer old school round tube.

If I could photo shop one I would.

I wonder how some old school type door inserts would look?

Eh someones gotta keep the heat on

Don't get me started on foot pegs.

I don't want y'all starting a "a wave at the other Broncos" deal either.

Every time I have the Scrambler out all the new Jeep people wave like they want to go out on a date.

Yea also these are pre-production, which I doubt they are going to redesign the B-pillars. It is fairly large but then again, have you seen it in person??

Maybe we could all chip in $10 to see someone cut the Boron steel roll bar out of their brand new Bronco.
I will supply the tools if I get to watch, hell I throw in a pineapple pizza..

Do Jeeps still come with bolt on cages or are they welded in? I've only been in a newer Jeep once and I don't remember.
No clue, but seeing as I can't recall ever seeing a JK or JL without a cage, I'm gonna go welded.
I’m actually sorta surprised by some of the responses here. Especially since months ago there was speculation about the bronco having a removable roll cage due to ford filing of a patent for just that.
Yes Ford did file a patent but I think the 'consensus' on here was that it would never come to fruition, and was basically done to protect the idea from the aftermarket.

I'll wait to see it in person before I buy new blades for my grinder and sawzall. Chances are the aftermarket will jump right in and solve all the major complaints right off the bat. The aesthetics of the factory cage are likely more dictated by liability and legal standards, there may not have been much they could have done to make it "pretty".

Ditto on the front suspension - I'll break it a few times or wait for it to disappoint me before I start looking at swapping in some portal axles. Then see what the aftermarket does. Last resort would be to build it, that just takes too much down time for my new toy - I want to play with it NOW.

My guess is there will be all sorts of solutions to problems we haven't even seen yet. One thing I foresee is door inserts like on the 1st gen Broncos - cover up the formed sheetmetal for a smooth exterior look. Possibly something for the cage along the same lines.
