That soft top 2 door

So that soft top 2 door shown at the factory not too long ago... who makes it? I would love it if this was the standard top for two doors. Any chance of that? Better yet, any videos or pictures of it being folded? Does it ( please, please, please) do the safari thing Jeep’s do? My base mic top will be shredded and recycled if it does( actually I’d rather not have it at all if I could get this top from the get go). Can anyone give up some solid information? Thank you in advance.

So skip the Bimini top accessory and recycle (because who wants the useless, side windows don’t pop out, mic top) and put the money towards the folding top. Sounds right? I wish Ford just made the soft top the standard for two doors ( or made mic side windows pop out ). I’m in Florida so soft tops and air flow rule.

Ford originally said you could purchase a soft top for the 2-door as an accessory, but the 2-door came with the hardtop no matter what.

Recently someone claiming insider knowledge stated Ford was working on offering a soft top as an option from the factory on the 2-door the same way they do for the 4-door.

That’s as “definitive” an answer I can provide.

Does it ( please, please, please) do the safari thing Jeep’s do?

I believe it’s the same top as this one shown in the CEMA video (the drop down at the B pillar looks the same). Does the safari thing, but not sure if it fully folds down like a convertible.
