The argument being if a dealer required you to opt in with a “non-refundable” deposit for a MY21 and it went into a 22 or 23, I would imagine if it came to that, any lawyer worth his commission would argue the deposit was for 2021 model year which has been surpassed.
Not a lawyer, just logically thinking how a lawyer would approach if someone wanted to opt out and the dealer got stingy
