The 2022 Bronco Club.. What next? Disappoint or Happy?

2022 models will afford buyers the opportunity to read up on thorough , rigorous auto reviews of the Bronco. Remember, none have been conducted yet. A vast selection of aftermarket options and accessories will be on the market to augment whatever choices Ford offers by then. And the Ford offerings in 2022 will add colors, special editions (plural according to Ford) and most likely a stable supply chain.

I see posts all over this forum stating that the ‘22 will be priced higher. Why is this repeated so much? Has it been reported by Ford? It seems incredibly rude of Ford to do that to people who made reservations in 2020.

It is a reasonable expectation. Prices never stay stagnant from year to year. Your reservation doesn't guarantee a price. When you convert the reservation, you are locking in the price for a MY21. When the order needs to be resubmitted, you will then agree to the price of a MY22. Perhaps some dealers will honor the MY21 prices if your order is an overflow? But if a reservation holder chooses to delay the conversion, then there should be no expectation of price guarantees for previous MY Broncos.

Only issue....price WILL BE INCREASED

I am a 7/18 wildtrak so am probably dead in the water as well. I think we will have the opportunity to choose new colors, maybe they will over all terrain tires, and they will fix the gross weight issue. Let’s see what order conversions look like. What I don’t like is that there are most likely still going to be 50 to 60000 people waiting for my22. What pisses me off more are the dealer employees who had reservations ...they all seem to be “early day 1” first editions

I was waiting on purpose as I didn't want mine until 2022. Then for one time in my life I got lucky, and Granger offered their killer 2K under invoice for all reservations in Oct. deal. So, I got that goin' for me.

Nice dream. But I would be content with quilted seating like the Filson rig. The new Cherokee quilted interior is gorgeous.

I sent my sheet to Granger. I’ll take it now or next year. I like what I see and am willing to take a gamble. Since I’ve almost only ever ordered manual transmissions, I’ve ordered several cars without ever actually driven the exact combination. Not a worry there. Once everyone gets theirs, all the color this and color that will disappear (I think) for themselves. All the other stuff? Not much under my control.

moral of the story: worry about the crap you have control over. The other stuff will happen whether you like it or not.
