Being impatient, I'm already shopping around. I'm leaning towards the Trail Tough YJ kit. I can't find take off springs for the life of me, so I may be forced to order new.

Do it, it's easily the best transformational mod you can do to it. It will ride sooo much better!

I found free YJ springs (take-offs), made the brackets myself and bought a couple of spacers for the driveshafts. I was going to lengthen the shafts, but it works fine with the spacers (clearanced a bit for the joints to travel).

Free sounds nice. The only YJ springs I've found so far are $150 and 3 hours away. I don't mind the price but I do mind the drive.

I could make my own brackets but for $300 it's not worth it. I did start on bumpers though.

Then this ought to tickle your pickle. I'm mounting it 3" low because I'm taking the body lift out. It's going to have a receiver and shackle tabs.

Ha!

Just 3" blocks. The scale helps picture just how tiny these are.

So I'm going 3" down and then 6.5" up when I do the YJ springs.

Fun fact: I can touch the spare tire from the driver seat.

Took apart the shift tower today to see if my 3rd gear shift issues can be improved. I was hoping it just needed a new bushing, and it did, but the locating bolt was sloppy. It broke while taking it out so I ended up drilling it out then tapping and upsizing to a 12mm bolt. I still have a little more fine tuning left before I can test it.
