I'll get a manual if the Bronco ends up being a 2dr toy and I keep my truck as a daily. If I let the truck go, I'll have to get the 4 door and an auto so the wife can drive it also.

Sounds like you just need to teach the wife how to drive a manual

I taught my wife to drive a Mustang GT and a Jeep Wrangler with manuals. She still refuses to drive one on public roads. She just will not do it.

She knows how, but doesn't enjoy it. It's a minor sacrifice to make. Happy wife, happy life ;)

My wife won't drive manual... which is fine by me. I never have to adjust my seat or mirrors!
But we could be a two Bronco family. We're waiting on the Lincoln Corsair Hybrid as a potential replacement for her C-Max, but she's liked what she's seen of the Baby Bronco, so... I'm thinking Manual Bronco Bronco & Hybrid Baby.

That actually happened to me in my 88 Integra wtf. I think the clutch fell out the bottom of the car too
I had similar in a 2002 F-150. the master cylinder went out while I was on the interstate in traffic, got onto the offramp and had to force it into 2nd gear. it went, but it broke a pin in the linkage and it fell into the transmission and grenaded it. Had to drive 20 miles back home in 2nd gear...better than 1st at least.

Had my Master Cylinder go in my A4 after it was sitting at the body shop for a month xD

Bright side, I was able to pull over on a relatively quiet road, but still

I am starting a write in campaign to ban automatics. Then the women will have to learn STICK.

Who is with me?!

I am good to go, because my wife drives stick fantastically.

*Raises hand*

Imagine how much safer the roads be when you got people focusing on the road instead of texting and driving, except for highways and at lights/signs
