My son's Great Dane. 16 month sweetheart. We lost our son in June, but he was waiting for the Bronco to be released. He unfortunately never made it to the release. This will be his Bronco...

The long hair one is a silken windhound (type of sighthound whose origins include Whippet and Borzoi)! The other is my rescue and she’s a bunch do things - not whippet though they’re both super fast!

Where did you get the Silken Windhound? I am intrigued by them but, your beautiful dog is the first I have seen not on a breeder page.

Danes go too quick... Odin looks like he was a champ! I lost mine when he was 5. He saved my life though and I'll never forget him, as you'll always remember the wonderful memories with Odin.

Sorry to hear about your loss. The good thing is I'm seeing our Gentle Giants live longer and longer these days. My female Ari (a.k.a Sexy Gurl) lived to 12 and Atticus is currently 10 1/2. Don't count these guys out... many are living to a ripe old age and make great companions!

Where did you get the Silken Windhound? I am intrigued by them but, your beautiful dog is the first I have seen not on a breeder page.

Its a pretty rare breed but i've always loved sighthounds and came across one, then met several through a facebook group. All of them had such biddable temperaments and the owners I spoke with all said the same thing/had more than one! They're beautiful of course but their personalities are the best part. Ended up with a puppy last year and the rest is history! Happy to share more if you're curious!
