The Elusive Electronic Dual Zone Knob Been Found?

After someone posted they found the new MOD top bag's. I started to see if you can buy the Electronic Dual Zone knobs. Well looks like you can but it's a bit fishy without some more digging around. All the control knob's have the same part number but different price's.

Which one would be the right part for the Electronic Dual Zone Knob that were in the 21's bronco?

The one that coming in the bronco right know is this one.

But as you can see it's all the same dam part number so is this all a lie?

That is odd. Same part numbers, different prices and different "usage" descriptions. The prices reflect the amount of functionality but it's odd that they have the same part number.

@flip Do you have any insight on why all the part's have the same part number is this a computer error ?

If you're talking about the base number, 19980, that's part of the numbering system Ford uses across all of their vehicle lines to indicate a HVAC control head. Kinda like 6007 is an engine and 7000 is an auto trans. To find the specific one for your vehicle, we look it up by your VIN.

That trail looks like it whet cold but I have been taking a different slow path myself.

I like to try different ways of doing things and mid year I bought a 2021 Bronco Sport climate control panel off ebay. It has the dual control digital gauges. I was hoping I could tear it apart and see if I could swap out the controls/dials. I don't feel bad tearing apart a sport panel from a wrecked vehicle.

I made some progress today and I have removed the digital gauges from the "sport" panel. They have ribbon cables that connect to the control board.

I have read in other searches that swapping out the non-digital "sport" panel was plug and play. Same thing for the F150. I am not sure if I swap just the gauges if that will work or if the digital gauges need the digital control board too. I have not found anything about anyone swapping out the 21 panel into a 22 bronco yet.

There are no part numbers on the digital gauges.

I am not sure when I will have the time or feel good about tearing my control panel apart to try the swap.

21 had them, 22 didn’t (the temperature was displayed on the top left and right of the Sync 4 screen), and looks like 23 they made a comeback.

I’m not sure if “special” trims had them all along or not (I.e. - Everglades, Braptor, etc.)
