Well, it blew the tire, AND the spare, on the same obstacle, so the vehicle had to be left there. It wasn't anything mechanical that broke down. But it does highlight the inappropriateness of the 20" wheels(more importantly, the reduced sidewall on the tires as a result) that come equipped on that vehicle.

There is another video where they take the same unit up Poison Spider in Moab. They have to have the suspension pumped up so tight it's as stiff as a board with barely any articulation and nearly flips over. It's totally ridiculous.

I would also argue they should know better than to air that 20 inch tire down as far as they did. (I am not saying 20 inch tires are good for off-roading at all. Just saying they aired down to like 18psi if I remember correctly and then that rock pinched the sidewall on that 20 inch rim. Twice...)

I've seen several videos of guys tackling equally rocky terrain with the 20 inch wheels on the Defender. They just didn't air down nearly that much.
