Not a recent pic (really should get one), but one of the few times I've gotten my middle daughter in the Bronco, especially with a camera, double-rare with a smile anywhere near her sister.
And one of the only time she’s driven it.

This is akin to a non-potato camera Nessie pic here, folks.

Hey I appreciate it!
Special consideration for my fellow entrants there for posting up selfies with the fam. Always good to put names with faces! Mayhap we will cross paths out there one of these days and share a campfire or a cars-n-coffee parking lot!
Hope so! Meeting new and fun people who share a story is a pastime of ours. We spent some considerable time talking to a couple at SCE who had a Bronco on display but no one around them to talk with.
And as you would know it, there were some good stories to be heard of their path to where they were, trips they have taken (and ones they haven't had yet).
TBH that's my favorite part of adventure. New places, new people, hearing the stories they have.

SO on that note, kind of a switch-up here.
I wanna hear a story about your favorite adventure. Something that stands out and means something to you.
Doesn't have to be epic, as long as it left a good impression on you or had some positive impact for some reason, that's epic enough.
A pic of that would be great. If not, your favorite pic of your ride in some random setting will work.

Most reacts wins. It would be hard to pick a favorite story and perhaps a bit unfair, as I'm biased towards the happy ones that have some profound meaning.

Happy Wednesday out there in B6G-land.

I can't leave Dave hanging...

I have had a lot of fun trips over the years, but this one took me to where I am today with the Bronco. It was the first time I took the wife and kids and went with friends to do some "serious" off-roading while camping (if you are from Texas, you likely know Hidden Falls). My wife has had Jeeps as long as she can remember but most of their use was trail riding, mudding, creek trails, beaches, pastures, stuff like that. I spent most of my car modding time making things go fast, so it was a different world. This was our relatively new JKU sport (because a 4 door Jeep can be a family vehicle and the kids were outgrowing the TJ). Pictured is stock and possibly with the street Goodyear Wrangler tires (street versions) or maybe some Bridgestone Revos. I was actually surprised how capable it was in its stock form.
This trip took me down the road of meeting new friends in the off-road community and a whole new set of adventures.

No wife is pictured because she jumped out the moments we went off-camber or were only seeing the sky.

A solo backpacking trip on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The first time I truly needed the Bronco’s off road capabilities. No one to help me if I got stuck.
My bronco’s A pillar in the video 😁

Probably my favorite photo ever. It really locked in a moment in time where I did something that I was terrified to do. So prior to visiting (now closed) Hard Rock ORV Park in Florida, All I’d really done is some light trails and tree filled paths. Did some dirt roads to campsites, but nothing that truly terrified me like this big hill. I had joined a local Bronco group any they were meeting up with some S FL Broncos to go off roading. I had finally pulled together enough things to be considered ready for off roading…, tow straps, shackles, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, heck it was my first time ever airing down!
Staring up at that huge, steep hill… I waited… But then every person who went ahead of me, succeeding, made me ever-braver.
Inside I was terrified, as I climbed upward, rear end squirreled, grabbed again, gravel flying around and tires spinning, seeing only sky, to a frozen glut of fear, a trust fall for sure, then finally …..getting to the top- Just changed me. I was hooked. I found I trusted my vehicle in a way I never had before. Definitely a core memory

@ToothlesstheBronco you get the win with 10 reacts.
Love the story and congrats on finding your courage and opening up new doors in life.
TBH that’s my favorite part of being a trail leader when those times arise.
Seeing the happiness and satisfaction of people who conquer that trepidation and go on to do and see things because of it. ❤

A few years ago at the very first United By Bronco in Hurricane, Utah, we had spent the first few days playing in the rocks and sand at Sand Hollow. For our last day we wanted to take it easy so we went on what was reputed to be a fairly short, easy (just a dirt road) run out to Toquerville Falls. I mean, adventure vans and crossover SUVs go out there so we were just expecting a quick, fun run out there for lunch and back.

Well it had rained very hard over night, and what we didn't know was that rain turns the red clay of that road into several inches of axle grease. And while it is indeed just an easy dirt road in dry weather, on this occasion it was slicker than snot on a doorknob and we were sliding all over the place, which was scary on the shelf road heading down into the canyon where the falls are. In fact even with 35" mud tires we didn't think we'd be able to make it back up. It was that bad.

So while we were checking things out at the falls a couple of guys on motorcycles were coming up a trail on the opposite bank of the creek so we asked them if that trail heads all the way out, figuring it would be easier for us, considering creeks run downhill, at least we wouldn't have that super slick climb out. The rider looked at our rigs (my '21 2-door Base and our friend Nicole's Early Bronco, both on 35s), shook his head and said "I don't know, Jeeps do it but they sometimes get in trouble down there, more built than you guys".

After thinking about it for a few minutes we decided to take our chances. Neither of us had ever been on or heard of this trail, or even been to Toquerville Falls on the "easy" road before so we really had no clue what to expect. We did have cell phones with shoddy signal and Google Maps though.

So we started down the creek and had the time of our life. 30+ water crossings, rock crawling, hill climbs, you name it. The creek was swollen from the recent rain but we picked our way along carefully, sometimes scouting ahead or poking branches down into the water to locate any unseen deep holes in the creek. Nicole's EB had a rear locker but my Base was still open-open at the time so I was a bit paranoid but we kept going and made it all the way out just as the sun was going down.

After we got back to town I looked up the trail we had just come down and found out it was called Rattlesnake Gulch, and that it had indeed swallowed up its share of Jeeps and other rigs, with a pretty good reputation for broken and swamped rigs. Matt's Off-Road Recovery has quite a few eposides of rescues out there.

So we felt pretty good that our little 2-rig caravan of mildly built Broncos and zero local knowledge came through it OK. I've been on much tougher trails in my well-built EB on full widths, 37's, lockers and tons of articulation. But for that moment, knowing what we knew and not knowing what we didn't, with the modest tools and vehicles currently at hand, it was an adventure to remember.

And yes I know I'm too late for the contest but wanted to share anyhow. Congrats Jess!

Dave, how about a side-quest while we wait for Jessica to issue the next challenge?
