Didn’t see your VIN in any posts so I couldn’t check it’s gate status.

Anyone have experience on how long rail cars stay in Louisville KY? Walbridge OH was 3 days but Cincinnati OH was mere hours. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

They’re all yard locations for the CSX. Think of it like airline hubs. Sometimes you have a short connection, sometimes you have a long connection.

It appears the CSX has to take railcars to Cincinnati to get them headed towards Chicago for interchange with a western rail. Most have been taking 5-6 days from being loaded @ MAP to get to Chicago. Most go to the UP. A few to the BNSF (primarily going to the PNW it looks like).
