It says they won't schedule MY23 until the end of September so you'll have almost 3 weeks to get it all done, right? That's no challenge for a machine like John!
well, yeah the math was off, but i think the pressure is more on John to get all of us converted over to My 23 in just 10 days. If we do our homework ahead of time (reading the my23 order guide on 8/29 and finalizing what we want) then hopefully he will have enough time to get through all of us.

Every single Bronco reservation holder that we have on our list have an order in with Ford. From what I've read, everyone will be able to place their 2023 orders.

I am seeing that COVP is requiring "drivers license verification", so when the time comes, we'll need to work out how best to get that submitted to Ford, it may be as simple as taking a pic of the license and emailing it to me.

I can do it in 4, maybe 5.

But I can't start doing it until the order banks open.

@StephensAutoCenter John, do you see us at the end of the SAC line benefitting from this new plan by Ford at all? The part that worries me is the use of 'early reservation holders'.

If they're not taking ANY new retail orders (walk ins), then my thoughts are, they're trying to provide Broncos to the reservation holder list.

@StephensAutoCenter Will you be requiring a deposit with the COVP? Any paperwork we can fill out ahead of time to help simplify the process for you once order banks open?

Unless something is mandated by Ford, we will not be requiring a deposit.

FYI, emailing a picture of your driver's license isn't a great idea from a security standpoint. If we end up having to send that, it'd be best if we could use some kind of secure upload tool.

Any previews this week?
Not this week, we're usually in the latter part of the month, so I expect to see something this coming Tuesday, hopefully.

There is scheduling this week for build weeks 9/5 and 9/12. It is strange to see only two production weeks in a scheduling cycle. @Administrator is your source able to confirm timing of scheduling for smaller dealers like SAC? It seems like sometimes the scheduling is spot on, and other times we are delayed a week or so after the official posting. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...for-production-build-week-9-5-and-9-12.50738/

@StephensAutoCenter have you heard how we can get in line for the Heritage Edition just announced? Not the Heritage Limited, but the Heritage? I'm interested in converting my existing reservation to a Heritage.

@StephensAutoCenter have you heard how we can get in line for the Heritage Edition just announced? Not the Heritage Limited, but the Heritage? I'm interested in converting my existing reservation to a Heritage.

Here's everything I have from Ford on the Heritage models.

INTRODUCING THE BRONCO AND BRONCO SPORT HERITAGE EDITIONS

The special-edition models will be available across the Bronco family lineup, including Bronco two-door, Bronco four-door and Bronco Sport SUVs.

  • For 2023, the entire Bronco® family – including Bronco two-door, Bronco four-door and Bronco Sport™ SUVs – offers Heritage Edition and Heritage Limited Edition models as a tribute to the original Bronco vehicles that roamed the trails more than a half-century ago
  • Classic design elements such as an Oxford White-painted roof, grille and wheels and Bronco script fender graphics are 1966 Bronco-inspired cues with a modern flair
  • Enthusiasts can select from a special palette of exterior colors that include the Bronco heritage-inspired Robin’s Egg Blue and Yellowstone Metallic for Heritage Limited Edition models
BRONCO HERITAGE EDITION

Heritage Edition models come standard with Big Bend™ series equipment and features, including a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine with 7-speed manual or available 10-speed SelectShift™ automatic transmission. The engine delivers up to 300 horsepower and 325 lb.-ft. torque*. The Sasquatch™ Package with a High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.) 2.0 system with long-travel Bilstein® position-sensitive dampers with end-stop control valves and increased ride height is standard, as are 35-inch Goodyear® mud-terrain tires and Dana™ front and rear electronic locking axles with 4.7:1 final drive ratio.

BRONCO HERITAGE LIMITED EDITION

Heritage Limited Edition models offer the increased capability of Badlands™ series equipment and features, including a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with up to 330 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. torque* mated to the 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. They are also differentiated with features that include metal “Bronco” script fender badging, leather-trimmed/vinyl plaid seats with white and Race Red accent stitching and unique Heritage Limited console badging. Ford will build just 1,966 units of the Heritage Limited Edition model to commemorate the year the original Bronco debuted.

BRONCO SPORT HERITAGE EDITION

Like the full-size Bronco SUVs, the 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Edition is built on the Big Bend series, with the proven 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine that puts out 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque*. The vehicles feature a H.O.S.S. system with increased ride height, uniquely tuned front struts with hydraulic rebound stops designed to provide a quiet, less jarring off-road experience. In addition, 46-millimeter-diameter monotube rear shocks, antiroll bars and uniquely tuned springs help provide off-road comfort.

BRONCO SPORT HERITAGE LIMITED EDITION

Heritage Limited Edition models add metal “Bronco” script front fender badging and larger 29-inch all-terrain off-road tires with more aggressive, deeper treads that stretch on to the sidewalls for improved off-road traction. Heritage Limited Edition models also upgrade to leather-trimmed seats and include Oxford White door inserts and unique center console badging. They are powered by increased performance and off-road capability of the Badlands series, including the more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with up to 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque* for high-speed off-road performance. An advanced 4x4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a differential lock can divert virtually all rear axle torque to either wheel, and the G.O.A.T. Modes system increases to seven modes, adding Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl. Ford will build just 1,966 units of the Heritage Limited Edition model to commemorate the year the original Bronco debuted.

FAQS

What are the Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions?
For Bronco’s birthday on August 11, we’re celebrating the first-generation Bronco with new Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions. A unique Oxford White grille features Race Red “FORD” lettering, while 17-inch aluminum heritage wheels painted in Oxford White and a bodyside stripe dial up the throwback looks. 1960s era-inspired squared fenders with Sasquatch-width fender flares provide a unique look and cover the nearly two-inch wider track.

[Note: Bronco two- and four-door Heritage Limited Edition models will be built over the course of the 2023 and 2024 model years. Bronco Sport Heritage Limited Edition will be built in the 2023 model year.]

How many units will you build of the Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Edition models? We will build enough to satisfy demand.

Will there be any other build limits or restrictions on either Bronco or Bronco Sport Heritage or Heritage Limited Edition models? We will build Bronco Heritage Limited Edition models one color at a time, starting with Robin’s Egg Blue at launch with Yellowstone planned for late 2023 model year availability. Peak Blue will be added for the 2024 model year.

Will existing reservation holders get first opportunity at these Heritage Bronco models? Bronco special editions, like other Ford specialty vehicles, are produced in lower numbers annually. We are not able to guarantee availability for all existing order holders. The chance to order Heritage Edition will be made available first to unscheduled order holders. For Bronco Heritage Limited Edition, there will only be 1,966 2 Door Broncos produced and 1966 4 Door Broncos produced. Production will span the 2023 and 2024 model years.

2023 Bronco Sport Heritage and Heritage Limited edition models are available to order for all customers now.

When can non-reservation holders order Bronco 2 and 4-door Heritage or Heritage Limited Edition?
We will have more information to share on ordering in September. You can express your interest (not a guarantee or reservation) on the Bronco Homepage by clicking on the Get Updates button. We will update requestors once ordering is open to non-reservation holders.

When will Bronco 2 and 4-door Heritage and Heritage Limited Edition be available?
Deliveries will begin in second quarter 2023.

When can I order a Bronco Sport Heritage or Heritage Limited Edition?
Bronco Sport Heritage and Heritage Limited Edition can be ordered through your Ford dealer beginning August 11, 2022. Bronco Sport special editions, like other Ford specialty vehicles, are produced in lower numbers annually. We are not able to guarantee availability. For Bronco Sport Heritage Limited Edition, there will only be 1966 2023 model year vehicles produced.

When will Bronco Sport Heritage and Heritage Limited Edition be available?
Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter 2023.

What is happening with NHTSA’s investigation of Broncos with 2.7-liter EcoBoost engines?
We are aware of a select number of engines early in the launch that exhibited this concern and we are investigating. If any customers are experiencing issues, they will be covered under the vehicle’s 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. We will cooperate with the NHTSA as we always do.

How are Bronco deliveries going? Why do you keep coming out with new Bronco variants if you can’t fulfill existing customer orders?
While the global semiconductor chip shortage and supply chain challenges for various commodities continues to impact vehicle production for all automakers, our teams have been updating units at Michigan Assembly Plant and shipping to dealers and customers daily. The challenges facing the industry are fluid and we are doing our best to get Broncos to our customers as quickly as we can. As for the new Heritage models, we listened to customers, who told us they wanted the option to order Broncos with a visual appearance that harkens back to the original Broncos that are in extremely high demand even to this day
