You do not have a reason to believe that allocation will be inversely affected, but, what if it is? Hypothetically, what would happen if you did not get the necessary allocation? Would the 2021 reservation then turn into a 2022 reservation?

Switch made! Just like everyone said, quick and painless call with Ford and practically immediate email confirmations from both Ford and @StephensAutoCenter confirming the details. The better half and I will fly from MI down to SC (her favorite vacation spot), stay there a day or two, then rent a car to Stephen's to pick up the Bronco, and then enjoy the scenery on our way back! Can't wait!

That would be an excellent way for Ford to lose a lot of sales, not sending the Broncos to where the reservations are. I for one can tell you that if Ford starts playing games like that, they can deliver mine to the moon.
