A demonstration of there being no green cars ( or most non greyscale) but not really a reason.

Green sells better than orange/yellow though?

What's even weirder is the surge in brown. I think the advancements in metallics has really helped it. I had a Toffee Brown VW that I loved.

I have a vague recollection of some big-name car magazine in the 1980's coming out with a list of which car colors had the highest resale value. Green was so far at the bottom that people started avoiding green cars for fear of lower resale value. Demand went way down and dealers stopped offering as much green due to lower demand. (I wish I could remember who did this list so I could look for it online, but I distinctly remember it being a topic of conversation at lunchtime as some of engineers started insulting one another about their shiny, metallic green vehicles.)

I'm not sure where the cut off is, but metallic bronze is considered a brown and brass is in the gold category .

My first car was a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Country. Really enjoyed it! It was green with tan interior. Love me some green. New M3/M4 is coming out in Isle of Man Green. Should be beautiful! We need more green cars! Especially Bronco!
