Is this their “lot?” This looks like a corner of the main building where they display a couple vehicles. I’d assume there are actual lots nearby where most of the inventory would normally live?

This is the story at every dealer right now. Stopped into my local dealer and they had 11 new vehicles on their lot, while they would typically have 500. Q3 should start to get better, but it'll be a while before things are normal.

Local Ford dealers around here (northern CO) are looking pretty damn thin. Even saw one dealership recently (empty lot) with a huge semi trailer in their lot with a sign that read “We will buy your used car”.

Also had an airbag recall on my 2014 JK so I stopped at a local dealer to schedule the repair and the service guys were talking about how they think there will be a industry tire shortage also.

I build camping gear and I’ll tell you this. Consumer demand has far outpaced the supply chain, plus there is a significant shipping container shortage. Too many cans are here, not enough in Asia. Normal container should cost around 5K, I shipped one last week for 22K. Buckle up kids. Consumer goods are going be become expensive. If you see something at the store that you think you want to buy and think, nah I’ll get it next month…buy it. It may not come back for several months.

@AHop In the real estate construction industry I was told in January that equipment lead times would improve by May and be close to normal by June. Now I'm being told it's only getting worse for equipment and that raw sheet metal is the major constraint for electrical equipment. I have my fingers crossed that things get better by Q3. As you mention, it is going to be long time before things are back to normal.
