These roof panels are garbage and Ford should be ashamed of themselves.

Well, in the winter I have a nice hardtop to keep the heat inside the Bronco and can take it to a car wash to get off the salt, mine does squeak a little, but that goes with the territory for a 4x4 truck.

But the very best part is when the summer time comes, the bronco turns into a convertible but better, the top comes off and the doors for the first time this summer.

When the summer sun at the beach pours through the top, it makes up for any squeaks it might have during the cold weather months.

I think the last 6 months my 2024 Ford Bronco Sasquatch has been the most fun vehicle I have owned, other than my original 1982 Pontiac Trans am with T tops.

It is going to be interesting in the US as more people want more cars and trucks under $30000, what will happen with these great trucks. Time will tell.

There are a series of steps to fix this:
  1. Enlist in the military
  2. Get a job around Arty or EOD or jets
  3. Ensure you get leadership that doesn't give you proper PPE nor the time to properly use it (easiest part)
  4. Eventually, the resulting hearing loss will eliminate most of it and the remaining wind noise just kinda harmonizes beautifully with the tinnitus.
This is the way.

I really don't get the issue here, the panels are removable so you're going to get a little wind noise over a solid one piece roof. If you think your noise is bad you should try driving a soft top and notice how much quieter your hard top is. "You don't know what you got, until its gone"

PSA: I just ordered a Turn Offroad hardtop so I will finally get a quieter ride while on the freeway and can have a normal conversation with out yelling again.

Probably help after market roof sales. I have similar problems. When roof gets pretty cold, seems like the plasric shrinks ! This seems to loosen the pop on covers and they rattle. Also noticed that windows do not seem to be parallel on their tracks with door frames. also seal at top is uneven. This appears to be the source of whistlng I get in strong cross winds ! Took it to my dealer, but they basically just shook their head My Bronco Heritage Limited was delivered new in March 2024 and has 8000 kms on it. I like it a lot except for the noise. I have OEM softop to put on in the spring. Still below freezing here ! I find that it is sometimes easier to fix it yourself properly than to rely on the dealer.

Took my Bronco in several times for wind noise coming through the roof panels, especially on cold days. After several trips and a TSB, the noise is now 10X worse than before. I get a super annoying whistling noise coming from 3 or 4 areas. My son has to wear headphones whenever he is in, and the family refuses to do any trips for more than 30 mins. (I can't blame them!) All the dealership can do is escalate the issue to Ford corporate and wait. It's been 2 months now with no word, and the service shop just throws their hands up. I see a bunch of threads of people spending time and money trying to fix their own issues with the top. What a shitty product.
I love my Bronco. That said, my long term concern is the MIC top. Mine looks fine but I baby it/303 protectant after every wash and yes...I have one air "leak" as well. Since I plan to keep this Bronco into eternity....the MIC is a long term concern. I watch as I hear about your issue, the cracks, delamination, those that have had multiple replacement tops that also fail. My warranty is up in a few months and why would I bother even getting a replacement MIC? I ordered a all aluminum Armadillo top and that will make my Bronco perfect. Ford should have went with all aluminum to begin with! They have their own stamping plant for gosh sakes. Yet...Ford continues to push out Broncos with these Webasto cardboard covered shells they call tops.

Buys offroad car with removable top and doors. Complains its not as quiet as a Lexus SUV.
That's not it. Don't be a shill and make excuses for Ford. I expected wind noise and never thought for a sec it would be quiet. I've owned a wrangler too and knew what to expect. What I am hearing is much much different. It's a loud whistling noise that sounds like one of those toy flutes and was made much worse after Ford tinkered with it. Unacceptable.

I've driven a soft top and my hard top noise is far worse than anything I heard from it. The soft top was probably louder, but certainly not annoying. There's just something about the whistle...

Thanks for the HT. Looks REALLY nice. Once I have a few questions answered by TurnOffroad I'll probably be ordering one. And if I do, I'll tell them you pointed me to their top. Maybe I can get you a "referral fee".... 🤔

(In a different (MIC) top thread, I stated I was going to get my pound of flesh from Ford by having them continue to replace them on Ford's dollar. May still do that, but I think getting ahead of the curve and getting this top from TurnOffroad might be a smart play for down the road. We'll see.)

Try putting some heat shrink on the front panels guide pins. That eliminated the rattle from them in the cold on mine.

Mine does/did the same. I fixed it by running a trek top this winter. heh.

I agree that when the sound does happen (cold days, worse if it's windy), it's bad; like shrill toy whistle bad.

I tried to adjust my panel but no dice. My next step was going to be to ask the dealership (or I just do it) to adjust the window. I never got around to it. I actually forgot about it until this thread since I haven't dealt with it since I left the trek top on.

I disagree to a point on the soft top. No leaks or squeaks. Noise isn’t bad at all driving in town speeds. Wind noise does get a little loud at 69.8mph.

On the other side of it, I wouldn't leave it up to Ford to permanently fix it. Outside of duct taping the gaps, even if they managed to get it just right, it'll probably move around given tolerances.

I need to figure out why the T where the two panels meet the rear panel has a loud wind noise >50mph just on the passenger side. They've looked at it and briefly got it to go away, but it came back a week later. It's also moved around some, gone away and come back, etc.

I know it's got to be the way the panels fit and the tolerance/play they have. Probably will need to use some rubber gasket material or whatnot where the panels sit in the channel.

Leaving it to Ford, though, not only is annoying but I also don't understand what I know will come back even if they fix it temporarily.

I was able to reduce the whistling by placing some paracord under the weather-strip...

Ive got a 2023 Raptor and don’t have a problem with roof noise. Panels have been on and off a number of times. No issues whatsoever.
