These roof panels are garbage and Ford should be ashamed of themselves.

Honestly I’ve had no issues. 20k miles in the year that I’ve owned it. Lots of road trips and it’s really not that bad. I’ve had my top on and off plenty in the year I’ve had it too. People on here just like to complain. I enjoy my Bronco and will never get rid of it.

Wait, you mean I’m not supposed to hear all this wind noise?

Hmm. 🤔
People just like to gripe.

I don't understand all the people calling the MIC "complete garbage" and similar such labels. My MIC top withstood a golf ball of unknown velocity head-on with my Bronco traveling in the opposite direction at over 60mpg. Do some quick physics calculations... serious impact. Sounded like a gunshot; made all four occupants ears ring. And the MIC didn't crack or anything! Just a tiny scuff mark.

They need to drive an EB. Solid metal removable top. Probably less wind noise. But you need a couple of strong men in their 20s to pick it up. 🤣🤣
Maybe less wind noise but a whole lot more noise in general

I have the TOR top and am very satisifed. There is some wind noise but no whistling or anything like that. Overall the noise level is not as bad as my 2004 Vibe. That said a removable top is a compromise for sure. If you're looking for a quiet serene ride a Bronco or any vehicle with a removable top is not a good choice. I wish Ford offered the Bronco with a fixed top -- but yeah I know its not really a Bronco then. Its a nitche market vehicle.

All my sh** makes noise…Bronco/HummerEv/BMW Convertible. The BMW top is the most silent, but the seals around the windows creak. GMC did a fantastic job with their removable panels and frameless windows. It’s quite a difference over the Bronco. I know they had some growing pains, but quickly remedied customer complaints. It’s nearly as quiet as the BMW. Had Ford produced/course corrected in a similar fashion, this thread wouldn’t exist.

What you can do is add a light bar if you don't have one, you'll forget about the top whistles here and there. I have one so IYKYK.
I have a set of ditch lights from Rough Country. I LOVE them but the one on the drivers side whistles like a MOFO. I do not really notice since my tinnitus can be pretty bad some days.

HAHA. The Navy did it for me. Ships are FREAKIN' LOUD!!! You need to wear hearing protection all the time because you never know when a noise is going to mess you up. Loved serving. Glad I did it, but DAMN!

I have the RC ditch lights too, the bigger cube ones and mine don't whistle but the light bar sounds like the opening of GnR Patience at low speeds, the hummm of the tires take over on the road so I sound like a one man band. lol

If your lights have holes on the front, consider plugging them with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQJYJWBC

It might help. Certainly did on mine...

Respectfully, I have to push back on this.

Just because this issue isn't happening to YOU doesn't mean it's not happening. I love my Bronco but the fact remains the hardtop is crap. I've owned jeeps and other convertibles. None of them hold a candle to the screeching whistling I hear every single day.

Same thing, just because it’s happening to you doesn’t mean it’s happening to everyone. There is aftermarket options if it bothers you that bad. Just getting on here to complain to hear yourself doesn’t help anything. Plenty of people with similar responses as mine. It’s a box on big tires, it’s not going to be as quiet as a F150 which won’t be as quiet as a car.
I owned a JK for a while and the Bronco is quieter and a better experience than that.

The fact that it's happening to several owners is a problem end of story. Why can't people understand this? Just because the majority of people on the planet don't have cancer, it doesn't mean it's not a big problem for the human race.

Many of you have not owned multiple Broncos, much less 2 Broncos that were nearly identical, with totally different hardtop experiences.

I have, and for the people who have good hardtops, this seems like whining. For the people who have bad hardtops, they don't understand how the situation is even tolerable to anyone.

My 2021 Bronco's hardtop was so bad that I needed hearing protection at highway speeds and couldn't hear the B&O sound system below 20. This was an OBX lux package with the factory sound deadening on the MIC top.

My 2023 OBX high package Bronco was nearly as quiet inside as her Honda CR-V. It was a night and day difference. Long trips didn't require hearing protection, we could make calls on the cell phone without difficulty, and even carry on a conversation without yelling.

If you have not experienced both ends of the spectrum with these tops, it's really unlikely that you will understand how bad or good it can be. Because when it's bad, it's truly heinous; when it's good, it's pretty damn forgivable.

When did I say it wasn’t a problem? Coming on and bitching that it’s a “shitty” product is just as annoying as the people like me saying it’s not a problem on theirs. Just because I said my opinion doesn’t mean I’m shooting down their problem lol.

If you acknowledge the problem then why does it annoy you when people complain about it? Nobody forced you to come into this thread. You can always just ignore threads like this that you find annoying.
