Any thoughts on how you might accessorize your Bronco?

We will not be going hardcore- Tires, maybe wheels, bumpers, lights and winch or two.

Winches for me are a tough one- I have had trucks with rear mounted winches which I know is unusual. of course front mounted winches get you where you want to go, but sometimes having a rear winch helps recover others. I have thought about front AND rear winches in custom bumpers. I donā€™t want a receiver winch.

For the front, I canā€™t get out of my head trying to do a Warn 8274-70 just for the retro look. I know that likely will require a custom bumper as everyone else will design for a more modern design.

Is a 8274 a wacky idea?

I like the look of them too.

Two winches seems like overkill. Don't go full mall ninja.

I'm way to analytical (I know this because my wife tells me) to know where I want to end up if I don't know where I'm starting.

I'm gonna need to see it before I formulate a plan.

I've got a couple of these puppies ready to go on as soon as I pick it up:

Amazon should sell those things with their logo on the box.

I'm just as guilty as anyone... I haven't used my welder or bender since Amazon came along :frown:

I think I have earned the mall crawler status- We have done plenty of hardcore, restored a few EBs, and paid our dues to off road carnage. That Jeep went from the Rubicon, Moab, Montrose, and the Black Hills of SD. The 77' Bronco was a labor of love for many years.

Warn 8274-70th Anniversary and the two VisionX 20" Shockers are here. Custom bumper will be needed to accommodate the 8274. I am hoping the SEMA in the fall is filled with built Broncos. I will be there. A few more VisionX lights are planned as reverse lights. Some Factor 55 stuff is on the way as well.

Rock rails, skid plates, tint, wheels and tires will probably be it, unless there is a factory lift kit.

Yes I have an obsession. Yes my wife is OK with it.

Serial Number 930/999... Glad I didn't wait the 9+ months to order the winch.

Will probably be the only Bronco with that setup then! Great to see this level of enthusiasm and excitement!

And if for whatever reason the Bronco doesn't end up floating your boat it's not like you couldn't use the winch on another rig of your choice!
