Current vehicle is a 20 Raptor and I pushed my reservation to MY22 for the Bronco. Then I decided I might as well wait for the Warthog version, but I’m thinking that won’t be until MY23. I have an issue with patience so now I’m considering the Rubicon 392. I’ve owned many Jeeps (5 altogether (3 Wranglers)) so I’m familiar with their product. Anyone have any advice?

If you have the means, do it. I would love to have a factory V8 Wrangler. Wrangler has long been the king of OEM 4x4 and the V8 seals the deal.

I don't understand the 392 at-all.
Is it for people towing motor homes?
It's definitely not for rock crawling or trails.
Is it just for bragging rights and the "sound"?

I think the idea of a jlu with a 392 is effin sweet. but for that price tag HARD NO. I did my calculations with my current financial situation (just shy of 20k downpayment) and the monthly payments were still in the 1k ballpark.

Options! there is nothing you can add to it? They have a couple options but very limited. If I recall they did not even list the option for the alpine system?

Oh you also have to pay to paint it unless you want white.

What will make you feel better / worse:

Driving around in your Warthog and seeing a Rubicon 392 go by... or driving around in your 392 and seeing a Warthog go by?
its a legit question
