there's a forum for that :p
I mean you’d think so right with all the nerds designing cars and trucks so they don’t have to deal with traditional American automobile structure.
no union.
no negotiation
No salesmen
No independent service
Full autonomous driving
It’s almost like they’re scared of buying a car.
rather than educate themselves on the car business they cowardly create car companies like Tesla and rivian. Lmao. Sorry for that rant. But this is a rivian thread on a BRONCO forum

and unlike gas, which can be stored in jerry cans in the unlikely event of an outage (depending on area), theres no way that im aware of save gas powered generators to charge an EV when said outages occur
Actually there is, my solar charged Tesla Powerwall will charge a electric car.

And this was posted in the Bronco Competition category of the Bronco forum. You just have to remove your Bronco blinders to understand it.

that must be just a one off odd event there, I never heard anyone I know with an EV saying they could not find a charger. Not something I'd worry about. If there were a full EV Bronco with a 250+ mile range it would be what I'd have on order, it's so rare that I drive that far in a day that it's really of zero concern. At all.

BTW I never could figure out why Volt concept never caught on. The reason why I never had range anxiety in the Volt was because once my battery range was exhausted a generator would come on powered by gas which sustained battery power to continue to propel vehicle electrically. We drove ours half way across country and back a few times using combination of electric and gas. It's basically two cars in one, electric car first then Prius like car second. Oh well. GM didn't market it very good...
I think the Volt not having a proper back seat nor a closed off cargo were a big contributor to it's lack of sales success.

So, creating a business from ground up with true innovation, and bringing a product to the market that does not exist is cowardly? That one of the most American thing one can do. Tesla changed the industry, the minds of the entire world about EV. Rivian is taking a do or die approach to build a product in an industry that used be controlled by the big 3, the unions and stealerships. That is one of the bravest thing a company can do.

should we not celebrate these cutting-edge companies for their vision and determination? You may or may not like their products, but I think we should all be a little prouder that American ingenuity is still alive.
