Why have I never seen this???

As to the OP, looks good and I'm happy with what Ford did with the black bar on the grille but wish they did do the chrome with the red on the letters. Seems every manufacturer though has gone big with badges/branding, lucky they didn't do something crazy like the Raptor grille!

Just my opinion.

I liked this, but something still seemed a bit off...

Then when I saw this, it hit me... it's the black bumper throwing it off.

I'd be all over a simple metal bumper. Maybe not full on chrome, but a bright satin version that matches the trim rings on my Squatch.

I think the main problem with the Heritage is that you don't have access to the option set that you do with other models. So I made a HeritageLands version. Lux package, MGV interior, non-Sas, sway bar disconnect. The Heritage Limited comes close, but forces Sasquatch and black bits instead of white bits.

I think some people may not be ready for the maintenance of chrome and others won't want to give up what the capable or modular bumpers give them. But I could see it offered as an option, along with those retro wheels/hubcaps as in the Flat Out Bronco.

Flares should be white on the Heritage too, IMO.
Or better yet, the fenders should look like what ADV Fiberglass makes. Now THAT would be the best 1st gen tribute or Heritage Edition

If you take a good look at the 2 door HEs you'll catch the reference on the back fenders behind the flare.

For those of you building your own Heritage model you really need to get chrome bumpers to complete the look, otherwise like another member posted, it looks just a tiny bit off.
