Found this 1968 Bronco while googling what is out there. Nice, eh?! It needs a top, though. [Edit]I guess this a truck!

There are some huge differences in asking price for these classics. This one is actually very reasonable compared to some of the other listings out there.

Tempting, but I’ll wait for the ‘21 ;)

Nice but somebody needs to be prosecuted for them prices. You can buy a house(a livable one) for that in some places back home.

If I didn't have mine already, no way I'd be getting one now $$.

Yeah, I bet demand for those (high priced) classics will go down once the new retro Bronco hits the streets.

$40K is on the low end! You should see some of the crazy prices for the old Bronco’s. Let’s see if this link works.

Thats totally my style, although every couple years they get a period of roadworthyness for a season.

Yeah, I bet demand for those (high priced) classics will go down once the new retro Bronco hits the streets.
Certain old 4x4 fans will always want an EB. But the wider audience (who have helped push up EB prices) will soon have a new Bronco option. The impact will depend on if the new Bronco is perceived as a worthy successor to the EB, and if the new Bronco can be customized/personalized.

By next year, an EB seller asking 40k+, will have to contend with the potential customer walking over to Ford and getting a new Bronco. I would use Jeep Wrangler as a guide. Older Wrangler/CJ prices are moderated, in part because people can spend on a new Wrangler.

Even as a dedicated old 4x4 fan currently owning three old 4x4s, there is no way in hell I would drop 40 grand on an EB, if I could get a brand new Bronco for around that price.
