Was it confirmed he was a reseller/exporter? I think I missed that in the thread.
He says he owns a classic car auction site.

That’s interesting…..however, if the dealer wanted to use the excuse for him being reseller/exporter, they could have just flat out denied the sale. The dealer also made him sign an agreement not to resell for 24 months.

So, that line of thinking doesn’t apply here.

Still wondering if there is a bit more to the story.

Ford had those contracts with Ford GT buyers that they wouldn't sell for two years.

John Cena sold his early, Ford sued him, and Cena settled.

It seems that it is possible to write an enforceable contract that puts stipulations on future sale.
First Sale Doctrine.

Once a product is sold, it belongs to the buyer, and is his to do with what he wants. The seller has no further claim on it.

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon until I know the full story. Not sticking up for the dealership, but it's important to know the full story before making judgements.

Mike Levine has helped out many, many reservation holders...and if he can't turn this around, there's a reason why.

Looks like their Google reviews got blown up by this fiasco.

Up until this post, I wasn't a fan of Ford going to a Tesla model of car delivery (each vehicle custom ordered). Now? I'm starting to think the dealer model needs to die.
Exactly what I was thinking before I scrolled down to your comment. I'm never doing this again

The dealership model needs to die and this is a prime example why.
Agree and why would you pay 25k over MSRP for a first year?!?

OP - I hate to say this but with all the quality control issues, this may be one of those blessings in disguise.

I still don't get why a dealership would do this? Or why a person would even buy a vehicle for that much over price? It's stupid on both sides! What has happened to our morals and decency people are so wigged out lately. Back in the day a spit handshake, that was a done deal no backing out, that was trust and honesty. We need that back in our lives again! Sorry about your Bronco some people are just greedy and mean!

Yeah but the paper he signed says a Badlands... not a First Edition. So i'm not sure what is going on.

MAYBE he reserved one truck but wanted to get a different truck instead, and the dealer won't budge, which is what Mike Levine was talking about? We have no clue, there's a lot missing from the story here. Because he keeps talking about a First Edition, but then why is he signing something to have them find a badlands??? Why would he even need to sign that if he's already got a reservation? No clue what happened here. Did the dealer mess up a deposit paperwork? Are they actually trying to screw him and make more $$. Or did this Tom guy leave out a lot of important details that might not make his case seem so good? Nobody can tell right now. TOO MUCH missing from this story. Just a few screen shots doesn't tell us anything about what actually happened. It's completely 1 sided right now.
Why does the sales contract state MY 21-22 ?
Also aren’t Rock Rails standard on the FE ? Why are they an add ?
Plenty of Red Flags or incomplete storyline
