This needs to be a Bronco option - led side view mirror spot lights

Ford F150 already has built led side view mirror spot lights as an option. This is not offered on the new Bronco or am I missing something.

Wife has them in her Subaru. Only real value is to dimly light your vehicle so no one can, in theory, surprise you when you get to it.

I mean, if you get those higher end packages, most vehicles have intelligent locks that unlock your door without having to activate your key fob anyway, so you don’t need extra light while fumbling around looking for or at your keys trying to unlock your door.

Maybe I’m missing something though.

Those are called puddle lights and keep you from stepping into puddles or dog poo or anything else that you don’t care to step into just before getting into your car.

Wasn’t aware that was an issue common enough to warrant speciality lights.

I stepped in a deep puddle just last night I couldn’t see in the dark. Happens a lot after a rain storm in my section of New England with all of our dirt roads and driveways.

Also for clarification, this thread is about the “spot” (or alley light) in the mirror, not the puddle light.

If my Bronco is gonna be a year out for delivery, I'll spring for high pack.
