I think people are missing the point of my OP.

Why are you waiting for your dealer to contact you? Why haven't you contacted them, multiple times if necessary.

And this isn't about ordering...it's about making sure you are comfortable with your pricing between you and the dealer.

And accomplish what exactly?
We know we have until March.
A 2 door with 2.7/LUX is MY22
I'm in no hurry.

Please help me understand. I continue to see multiple posts by B6G users that state they are waiting on their dealer to reach out to them about price, ordering, etc.

You're about to order a vehicle that for the majority of Americans costs more than they make in a year. Yet you have no clue about what kind of deal you can get, are you likely to get a MY21 or MY22, etc.

Are you:

- normally a passive person
- don't like the level of conflict that may arise when talking to a dealer
- just take whatever's offered
- don't like to be the first one to start a conversation
- loaded and just don't give a shit about money
- usually let me wife handle these types of things

I'm genuinely curious.

Some of us have solid egos and don't NEED the bronco ASAP and want to see how everything plays out....?‍

I emailed the specialist at my dealer yesterday. He got back to me right away. He told me to build my desired bronco online, and then email him the build.

I then emailed him and asked him to tell me about pricing and confirm that they will honor x-plan pricing.

Radio silence....


Ugh.

You've got to find that other dealer with the better deal. If you reserved 6 months ago and never discussed pricing with your dealer, are you really going to go out try and find a dealer with a better price?

I had to initiate conversation with my current dealer. Waiting to hear back about their pricing, but offered me to be his "test subject" by submitting my specs...

Also waiting to hear from another dealer about their pricing. Most likely will move to them.

MY21 is not the year for me. I'm about to purchase an engagement ring which would be a portion of my down payment. Thought I would be able to make it work with both but that was before going to the jeweler... So I'll need to be smart and wait it out for MY22.

I can stomach paying sticker, and one of the few benefits to living in CA is that doc fees are limited to $80 by law.

Now if they try to tack on an "ADM" fee then I guess no Bronco for me.

Both of mine have contacted me, but I am staying out of the train wreck first week of open order banks, let the dust and fires get put out then act accordingly which is MY22 so I am not in a hurry to be a crash test dummy for a MY21.

I think there being 60 days left leaves plenty of time. Not everyone is as excited/anxious to get their order in. For many this is simply yet another new car theyre buying in their lifetime

If you are at a dealership that has to potential to process over 1000 reservations- time isn’t on your side, these dealers ans I hate sticking up for them have limited time and customer interactions to wait on people to decide...
I get it the BP hasn’t been the most constant steady tool but shit we have had months to analyze things like color, trim, cup holders, thread counts in the leather...if u don’t know by now well it’s on you the customer.. but what the hell do I know
