After one week of owning a 4 dr soft top, 2.3, Sasquatch with no other upgrades here is what I learned that I did not read on this forum-

1) The rear windows cancel zero sound. The road noise from the back is loud, especially on the highway. 75 mph = 77 decibels on my phone app.

2) After 225 miles of 80/20 city/hwy Iā€™m at 18.6 mpg. I drive smooth, I get 150,000 miles out of brake pads, so my foot might be skewed softer than most.

3) The standard radio is plenty, even with the road noise.

4) The top is easy to fully retract, more effort to latch back on. The passenger side latch hook will not get low enough to latch unless I use a screwdriver to pry.

5) The 4 door Sasquatch rides and drives well.

6) Topless is awesome.

Originally I ordered a 2 door painted mod top. I switched and planned on driving this one until 2023 when the painted tops are available. Iā€™m leaning towards keeping this one because topless is so much fun.

Holy cow in what kind of car?? I've never heard of that many miles on brake pads. That's twice the high average number!

Race Red looks great. Thought about it but I'm just not a red person. If I was this would be the one I would choose.

Nice. I drive about the same mix. I feel good about my chances of averaging 20, I drive twice my age. Meanwhile my wife can wear out pads in 20k.

F250 and my current f350. I had 102k on a 2010 gmc 1500 I never changed the pads on as well.

There is a handle in the middle of the roof to pull down from the inside to get the roof latches pulled down.

Glad to hear this report. Any comments on power with the 2.3 and Sasquatch? Manual or auto?

Auto. Itā€™s plenty of power. It creeps up to 80 on the highway without me noticing.
