Now that the Broncos are out, would love to hear people's thoughts on 2dr vs 4dr drivability. Particularly on highways.

One of Ford's test drivers said the 2dr bounces a little on washboard roads.

Any feedback would be great. Might even change my mind to get a 4dr.

As cool as this looks with the whole "invokes the spirit of a bucking Bronco" sorta thing they got goin on.... Yea, the 4 door will drive soooo much better. The only thing the 2 door has going for it is nostalgia if you're into that, and being slightly more nimble on those real tight trails.

I was actually shocked they included that footage during the reveal… that oscillation looks miserable.

I may have even laughed out loud imagining the poor test driver in that moment under the cool music and intense voice over:

“AH OH UGH UH FUCK AH SONOFA ACHK OH”

You forgot to mention the fact that the 2-door looks way cooler

And that’s what’s holding me back from getting the 4 door.
It’d be great to hear from people who have driven both though

My 2008 Mustang drove a lot better than my 2001, mostly because the wheelbase was 6" longer.

2-door wheelbase is shorter than my old 2001 'Stang. I suspect it's going to be pretty bouncy on the freeway. On the other hand, ought to be able to turn a donut insight just about anything else.

I'm going to ignore this wildly incorrect statement in an effort to not start this in every single thread.

I had the chance to drive my dealer's demo unit that is a Wildtrak 2 door. I was very happy with the ride quality and handling. We took a route with medium speed and side roads. There were some areas on the road that were uneven and rough and I felt that the ride was very comfortable. Yes, there is some slight bounce to it but I would not say it was much, if any, worse than my 2020 Ranger Crew Cab. I definitely would not call the ride harsh. I can't say how the ride will be on open highways as I didn't drive it in that type of setting.
Given that the Wildtrak has more of an off-road package with aggressive tires, I'm confident that my 2 door Big Bend with the more tame AT tires and suspension will ride just fine. (Yeah. It's built and sitting somewhere waiting for the top!) Obviously the 4 door will ride better, but the 2 door rides just fine for my use.

I could live with that. Looks a bit like a Bronco II.
