Thoughts on Delivery timing MY '22 order?

Realizing that supply chain issues due to COVID are still very real and the Bronco launch has been FUBAR, does anyone have rough thoughts - perhaps based in something other than wild ass guesses or dreaming - on when we should expect delivery of a '22 order? I do not believe I've got anything ordered which is highly constrained (no hardtop, etc) and my order date is noted below. I assume there are many of you in a similar position.

I am assuming you are an early reservation holder. Lets say you reserved in the first 1-3 days. You and 80,000-100,000 other people (me included). I fully expected, based on what we were told and all the data...that I would have my Bronco by October 2021. Well....that did not happen. I am a MIC top 2 door. Just an opinion, but, I feel I will be lucky if I get it by end of Summer 2022. Heck at this point, Nov-Dec. 2022....if at all in 2022 (based on rumors). If Ford got to full production, based on ratios and data we have been told...they could get the 110,000 back log all built by August 2022. BUT.....with this new Dealer Allocation....it throws a huge QUESTION into the mix. Since theoretically they could build all the back log, why allocate? Tells me there is something going on that we are not being told....like....Ford can't for some reason get them all built in 2022. I hope for you and I they do and we may get them next Summer. I will be hopeful but the bubble burst a long time ago.

I know there are multiple factors in the way of an estimated build date but just knowing what reservation was #1 would help. I think I remember at full capacity(in a perfect world), Ford can build 1200 Bronco's/ Rangers per week

The supply chain issues appear to be getting much worse and it's apparent that production numbers are far less than predicted. This is before you even factor allocations.

Actually they can produce a mix of 500 Broncos-Rangers per shift which is 1,000 a day (2 shifts). Earlier they said 60% Bronco to 40% Ranger ratio. As of now, they have not hit full speed production. What I wish they would tell us....JUST GIVE US A REALLY GOOD ESTIMATE ON WHICH QUARTER IN 2022 WE COULD SEE OUR BRONCO SCHEDULED FOR BUILD. That way....people could make the necessary decisions and plans that effect them personally.

Thanks everyone. Kinda what I expected. Unless you guys have other info, I believe that my day-one, hour-one reservation timestamp equates to exactly jack shit at this point. I suspect that the CONFIRMED ORDER DATE (02/09/21 in my case) is what we are being lined up against.

Honda by me builds about 600 Civics per day in normal production year which equates to about 210,000 civics they can build per year once you removed holidays. They currently can only build 200 a day which equates to just under 70,000 in a year with holidays.

Someone posted that their dealer said they might only produce 75,000 broncos in 2022. He also stated that half would be for stock, which there is no way Ford is going to do that to reservation holders. The point though is that currently his dealer is probably right on his prediction. Because at a 60/40 split with the Ranger that would make it 600 per day. And I’m going to assume they have about the same constraints as Honda.

Thus meaning they’re probably at more like 200 per day. Which is again about 70,000 once you remove holidays. You could assume Ford might move that to 70/30 split. Which with the breaks and holidays probably gets you just north of 75,000. Ford was banking on being able to build over 200,000 of these a year if needed.

Btw currently Toyota is in the same boat. My dad is a big supplier for Toyota and they’ve been cancelling orders left and right. They’re running at a much lower capacity.
