My wife and I have had our Base Bronco for a little over 3 months now and we've been having a blast with it so far. In this video we sit down, crack open a beer and have a candid discussion of our thoughts on it so far. It might come across as a bit fanboy, as we have a lot of positives to say and not much negative.
Throughout the video we've peppered in some of our off-roading highlights over the first couple months of ownership. You'll find that we're approaching this thing as old school Bronco owners (we have a couple of Early Broncos as well) with more interest in the off-road capability than the on-road manners and creature comforts that most reviewers talk about. We've been investigating just how far off-road you can take a non-Sasquatch Base Bronco, with no lockers and none of the fancy off-road equipment the higher end models have. We did discover early on that the stock Base tires are practically useless off-road (due to their poor ground clearance), which we remedied with a spacer lift and 35's. But otherwise this thing has been surprisingly capable, even in some fairly difficult terrain, without lockers and all the other gadgets.
