So what it's worth...(in Texas buyers group, so dealership is in pretty close conversations with area rep) Spoke with General Manager today about implications of switching to Black shadow painted roof. He said to hold tight for now as we have plenty of time to change. I knew we had until VIN was assigned, but he said something interesting. Ford will contact dealers with build info. Dealers will have 2 weeks to confirm no changes afterwards. Anyone else confirm that it may not be VIN assignment but rather 2 weeks beyond Ford confirmation for change?
