How do you plan on swapping to the rubberized floor? I’ve been curious about doing this myself.

Are you going to retrofit the drain plugs, too? I'm guessing there are holes cut out in the rubber floors.

the holes are already there, just covered with a plastic drain cover

I did vinyl and noico sound deadening in my 1966 Mustang. It's still an ongoing project but it definitely sounds and feels more solid. I haven't had glass in it since we did the floor, roof, and side panels but I already feel it was worth it. No rattles from the sub either and in a car that is basically solid cheap metal, that's saying something.

As long as we had the interior apart we also replaced some of the speakers, the B&O is lacking and the Infinity speakers made it sound much much better.

i did the same( but not as good or as detailed ) to my 68 mustang about 8 yrs ago. It made a huge difference in how she feels and sounds.
